Controlled bridge lifting with synchronized systems
Bearing replacements and major maintenance work often require the bridge to be lifted in a safe and controlled manner. We use synchronized lifting systems where each lifting point is monitored and adjusted simultaneously, ensuring that the bridge is lifted evenly throughout the entire process.
This method is required by some clients and infrastructure operators for sensitive or large-scale bridge projects. Our systems also allow the lift to be mechanically locked in position, providing an additional level of safety during the work.
We are one of the few companies in the Nordic region using synchronized lifting systems for bridge lifting.
Efficient bearing replacement with minimal disruption
We carry out complete bearing replacements, lifting the bridge, replacing the existing bearings and casting new bearing plinths where required. The method is adapted to the design and specific conditions of each bridge.
In many cases, our lifting method allows the bridge to remain operational and open to traffic while the work is being carried out, minimising disruption to traffic and the surrounding area.
